The Manitoba First Nation Species at Risk Teaching Kit is now updated and available for First Nations teachers and educators. The teaching kit includes easy to use lesson plans and resources to help First Nations children and youth learn about species at risk. Included with the teaching kit is a colourful 2012-13 calendar that is easy to print and assemble. The calendar brings species at risk and fascinating facts into your classroom or for students to take home.
The teaching kit was updated by CIER through the Species at Risk Pathfinder Initiative. This project was undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada through the Federal Department of the Environment.
