This course introduces participants to the CIER Species at Risk Act-Consultation, Cooperation, and Accommodation (SARA-CCA) Guidebooks, walking them through the design and implementation of a Species-at-Risk (SAR) project. This six-module course contains narration, slides, visuals, and interactive components. The course covers a variety of topics including: data sovereignty, community engagement, study design, sampling methods, data analysis, GIS, species identification, and much more. The content for this course was created using the SAR Guidebooks developed by CIER, which can be explored alongside the course to get a more detailed look at SAR research and project design. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate via email.
