The Mental Health Promotion Innovation Fund – Aimed at community mental health promotion with a focus on infants, children/youth, young adults, caregivers of children and youth. Supports First Nations, Inuit, and Métis, LGBTQ2+, newcomers/refugees, and people with other socio-economic risk factors.

Government of Canada funding for Indigenous-led approaches to health services. Has two components: Distinctions-based (for long-term, predictable base) and targeted initiatives (short-term, innovative, activity-driven projects).

The Youth and Community Wellness Grants – For Indigenous youth-led initiatives for projects centred on engaging youth in programming that focus on the wellness, health, and the land for ages 15 to 29. Provides mentorship, training, and capacity-building and Is partially funded by the Government of Canada.
Ontario based, provides funding, knowledge, and mentorship to establish food forests. Food forests are similar to community gardens but are more centered on traditional Indigenous food cultivation that provides food and strengthens community. Funded by the Government of Canada.

First Nations Health Authority – Funding, resources, and education that works to improve Indigenous peoples access to medical care.

The Indigenous Climate Change Adaptation Planning (ICCAP) Toolkit’s objective is to provide a suite of user-friendly tools, resources, and key considerations to support Indigenous individuals and communities interested in undertaking climate change adaptation planning. The intent is for the toolkit to be used by communities at all different stages of the adaptation planning process, including communities with little or no prior experience.
Provides youth general mental health support, but to have programming that is directed towards supporting Indigenous youth.
Supports projects aimed at improving the health and well-being of First nations communities. For community-based initiatives that have a focus on holistic health and wellness (including mental health, community wellness, and traditional wellness).
